LACTATION
I'm working towards my certification in lactation! (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant)
I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, which means I have completed the educational program, and am accruing the hours needed to be able to sit for the exam.
As a CBS, I can support women and families in their breastfeeding and lactation journeys through education, hands on support and home visits, and virtual/phone support. If/when a complicated situation arises, I will loop in a skilled IBCLC or other practitioner for additional support.
My midwifery training and experience has equipped me to be confident in my skills to provide excellent support in this area, and I'm thrilled to be able to offer this service to the community!

- in home lactation support: latching, comfort, assessment of milk transfer, etc.
- support during times of transition: back to work, pumping, adding table food to baby's diet, etc.

Home Visits for Lactation Support: $120 (up to 2 hours)
